One of the ways the children of PCF Sparkletots Preschool @MacPherson Blk 54 to show care for the environment is by planting seeds. This initiative was carried out by Playgroup to K2 children.
To kick off this project, parents were asked to donate recycled materials like plastic bottles, cartons and cans that children could use as their “pots”.
NParks also donated different packets of seeds that the children used to make the planting possible.
Every day, the children show excitement to water the plants during outdoors.
Through this project, the children have recognised the importance of planting and recycling to make our air clean and for the betterment of our environment.
This has also taught them a value of sense of responsibility by taking care of living things.
