To kick off the project, we felt that it was important for children to understand what it means for others to have special needs and that special needs is not defined by one condition; everyone is different but everyone deserves to be treated kindly.
Through the use of stories, children can have a better idea on what “special needs” mean and how we can show our kindness to them.
