The children went outdoors to pick up trash and observe the recycling and garbage collection facilities in the neighbourhood. Through games such as filling up a “simulated” landfill , sorting recycled materials and a talk by the National Environment Agency , the children learnt more about the waste management system in Singapore and the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
