In this phase, children learn the importance of reusing by using the recyclable items and make them into other things and uses. For example, making a flower from plastic bottles, etc.
Teachers and children are encouraged to use the recyclable items in school for crafts, lessons or making of any educational aids for the children.
To wrap up phase 2 of the project, Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and 2 children reached out to the public by giving out the crafts that they made to create awareness.
Children also explained the process of how they made the crafts which was to reuse the recycling items.
After distributing the crafts to the public, the Kindergarten 2 children expressed their thoughts and feelings about the activity. Most of them said that they felt brave when they gave the flowers to the public and seeing them happy made them happy too.
