The theme for our centre’s SSDB project this year is “With Big Hearts, We Care For Our Home, Singapore!”
Children and teachers from all the classes came together online through Microsoft TEAMS on 29th July 2020 to witness the centre’s official launch of our SSDB Project.
This year’s SSDB Centre Launch was special because it was the very first centre-wide activity we have carried out after the circuit breaker using an online platform.
Children, teachers and Ms Sally, our centre principal, greeted each other on screen. We were all delighted to see each other on the computer monitor.
Our Toodler Care swayed to the song “Shu Xing Xing”. The song is about love and care. We are all but small stars however together we can show love and care and make Singapore shine brighter.
N1 Joyful children sang and danced to the song “Graciousness and Kindness”. They believe that small acts of kindness goes a long way in brightening people’s day.
Children in N2 Friendly 1 expressed their gratitude to all frontliners in their song “Thank you, Frontliners!” Our sincerest thank you for your dedication in this fight against COVID-19.
Accompanied by rhythm sticks, the class of N2 Friendly 2 gave thanks in the song “Thank You, Singapore Heroes”. Truly, we are forever indebted to all our unsung heroes who continually devote their time and effort in keeping our Home, Singapore a safe, clean, healthy and harmonious place to live in.
K1 Thankful 1 children’s song rendition of “Try A Little Kindness” reminds us to be kind, caring and loving to everyone in our neighbourhood.
Children in K1 Thankful 2 class sang their hearts out to the song “We Say Thank You”. Thank you to our family, friends, teachers, community helpers and to all who make Singapore a happy place called HOME.
K2 Confident 1 children sang and danced to the song “Dynamite Caring”. They are committed in showing kindness and giving a helping hand to those who are in need.
Children in K2 Confident 2 performed an action song and dance entitled “We Are Anthem” by Sesame Street. Through the song, they wish to share the values and attitude, we need to reach our goals, to be strong against problem or danger like COVID-19 and most of all to work together for a prosperous and harmonious future in our HOME, SINGAPORE!
