National Day was celebrated through a hands-on activity focused on environmental awareness and sustainability. Elders and children worked together on a water irrigation planting project, decorating plastic bottles and planting a variety of seeds such as cherry tomatoes and bay choy. This activity was part of the Green Awareness Week at school, reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship.
The collaborative effort in decorating the bottles and planting the seeds provided an opportunity for shared learning and reflection on environmental responsibility. It also fostered a sense of achievement as both the young and elderly participants nurtured their plants together, celebrating the fruits of their labor as they watched their garden grow.
