The next phase of our SSDB Project ‘Fighting Covid-19’ is making and designing of the MASK EXTENDER.
Mask extender or straps are functional tool that can protect the ears from pain from wearing face mask for long period of time. It is used to remove pressure and friction from the ears.
Materials:

Elastic bands
-
Thread & Needle
-
Buttons
-
Fabric paint.
Steps:
-
Cut the elastic band to your desired length.
-
Stitch button for each end of the elastic band.

Design/decorate the elastic bands with words of encouragements and cute shapes.
The K2 Parents were involved in helping to make the mask extenders at home with their kids. They enjoyed their bonding together as a family. The children returned the finished product to school with a sense of accomplishment and shared their experience with their peers. Talking about HOME - SCHOOL Learning!
