This was our first time taking part in the ‘Start Small Dream Big’ (SSDB) project. Our K1 and K2 children were very excited when they received the SSDB resource packages.
In conjunction with this year’s bicentennial celebration, we decided to show our appreciation and spread our love to the older generation. The very first step to do so was for our children to know their grandparents better. We conducted brainstorming sessions and created a questionnaire for them to interview their grandparents.
Afterwards, we selected some songs that the children were interested in. We were also delighted to welcome a group of School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) students to choreograph as well as teach children to sing and dance to the selected songs.
