The children enjoyed learning about the history of Singapore during the celebration, developed their appreciation and love to their country. We have also joined the Nurture Kids Festival @ GetActive! to participate in dance and games.
The children and parents were encouraged to bring in plastic bottles and potted plants, where children had involved in planting and care for in our centre. We hope to instill the love and care for the environment for children, then enhancing our goal of building a garden city.
We had also invited residents from SWAMI Home to join us during the celebration, where the children led a seated workout, and also performed for them with folk songs such as Rasa Sayang Hey & Chan Mali Chan.
