In preparation for the Lions Home for the Elderly visit, IYAD Hougang had a pack sale campaign and a parental involvement where in there were boxes placed in each centre bay. This activity aims to instill the value of giving in our children to provide a pack of hand exercises and therapeutic activities for each resident.
N2 children helped the committee in packing the things for the elderly. Here are some snapped photos in action!
N2- K2 children celebrated National Day with the residents in the Lions Home for the Elders Bedok. We invited the parents to celebrate with their child and show their support to them.
Children performed National Days songs and showcase the talents to make our elderly happy. After that, children and parents played traditional games with them like playing gasing, throwing ball and many more. And before going back, children shared their gift packs for the elderly where we can see smiles on their faces
