On 27th May 2020, the K1 and K2 children had a virtual launch for the Start Small Dream Big project 2020 via Zoom meeting.
The theme “Not All Superheroes Wear Capes” encourages children to know the importance of community helpers and their essential roles in our community.
The children were introduced to the project and encouraged to create a “Thank You Card” with their parents to show appreciation to the frontliners and healthcare staff for their sacrifices as being modern heroes in our community.
After 2 months of Home-Based Learning due to Circuit Breaker, we had a mini launch to the children to refresh them about this project! Each of them has stories to tell about this pandemic hand prior knowledge as well about what is happening around them. It is a great start to share about our modern superheroes!
