Our little ones at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Bishan North Blk 267 learnt to make natural compost with vegetable remnants from our school kitchen, old newspapers and bread worms. The hair-raising (for some) experiment show us that plastics are non-biodegradable and remain in the soil forever, which is why we should reduce our plastic waste. The kids learnt that worms aren’t as scary as they thought at first, and are in fact very important in cleaning up our Earth.
