This year is a challenging year for everyone of us. Many of us are fighting a tough battle with Covid-19 and our lives have been turned upside down. In order for our lives to return to normal, all of us have to play our part and be responsible to the people around us.
In Eshkol Valley Preschool at Gospel Light, our N1 and N2 Teachers were engaged in discussion about Covid-19 with the children. They talked about social responsibility (e.g. stay at home if unwell, practise personal hygiene and etc). The N2 teacher encouraged children to share their thoughts on how they could do an appreciation card for the frontline workers like doctors, nurses and cleaners. The N1 children were in charge of packing energy packs for them. The packs contained items that the N1 children felt that the frontline workers would be happy to receive.
All these humble gestures from us were presented to some of the staff from National University Hospital( NUH). We really hope that this will bring a sunshine smile to their faces. Thank you to all our frontline workers for all your hard work and efforts! ð
