On the 19th of July, our little hands went on a journey to RWS S.E.A. Aquarium to learn about the different sea creatures that benefit in our conservation efforts.
The children were amazed to see up-close the diversity of life that dwells within the sea. They even had a chance to touch a sea star. During their tour, they also learnt about the human activities that harm them. When sharks’ fins are cut-off, they sink to the bottom and die as they are unable to swim. Sea turtles often mistake plastic bags as sea jellies so humans must be responsible to throw them in bins. These are just few of the lessons that children gained but at the end of this eye-opening excursion, each one knew by heart that their little hands have big roles to take on to save these creatures.
