Time flies so fast and now we had reached to the final part of this adventure. It has been a meaningful learning journey for the children, parents and teachers of My Kiddie Klubhouse. Last 18 August 2018, Little Earth Warriors Flea Market was held in Eunos Community Club. It was officially started with the ribbon cutting by Eunos Community Management Committee Chairman Mr. Fong Yong Kheong, PBM; Eunos Neighbourhood Committee Chairman Mr. Tommy Wijaya and My Kiddie Klubhouse principal Ms. Joyce Tan.
The Little Earth Warriors Flea Market Carnival is complete with photobooth, food stall, pre-loved and brand-new sale (donations from MKK children and their families), game booth (made up of recycled materials) and our Little Earth Warrior Gallery.
The amount raised from the Little Earth Warriors Flea Market was given to St. John Home for the Elderly Persons for their ongoing construction of 5 storey building on their 30 year lease land, to meet a plot ratio of 1.4 required by the government.
As early as in preschool age, children can help educate their families and community about the importance of recycling for the environment and how each and everyone can make a difference for a better world. This is what MKK children do: explore, discover, innovate, create, emphatise, apply what they have learnt and return it to the community.
