Throughout the SSDB journey, we collaborated with NEA and work closely with Ms Deivanai to plan for talks as well as hands-on activities for children be engaged in discussions about environmental topics. So, Ms Deivanai conducted talks, storytelling sessions and showed videos on Toilet Hygiene, 3Rs, Dengue and Beach Clean Up to create the awareness among our childen on how to keep Singapore clean and green. Children were actively discussing about the topic, gradually develop sense of wonder and curiosty as they asked Ms Deivanai questions to know more about what they can do their part to keep the environement clean. Useful resources were distributed to children, for them to share what they have learnt at home. Therefore, with support from parents/ guardians in highlighting this important practice of keeping the environment clean, we manage to actively involve our parents/ guardians in this SSDB journey.
