Children did a dramatization about the “The Hungry Bear.” This is a wonderful opportunity for children to express themselves by integrating imagination as well as real life experiences about kindness. Kindness is just as important as teaching other subjects. This is a great opportunity to see an improvement not only in the classroom climate and children’s behaviour but also our own morale as a an educator.
This dramatization is about a hungry bear who went around to scare the little animals but little did he know that these little animals were the ones who helped him when a big lion ran after him. He then realised his unkind behaviour and apologised as well as thanking his friends for helping him. Through this short dramatization, children learnt about the importance of being kind to everyone around them and to always be ready to lend a helping hand!
