In conjunction with the SSDB project, the K2 children visited the MINDS- Woodlands Gardens School. They were engaged in various activities such as taking a tour to the Butterfly Gardens, recycling corner and creating a recycled craft - plastic rose flower. This learning journey has promoted the value of inclusion and provided opportunities for our children to interact with the other children and staff. The children showed their appreciation by giving their recycled pencil holders to the children and staff of the MINDS school.
Children learnt to understand the importance of recycling and how straws and plastics affect marine life at the recycling corner. They sorted different materials for recycling into different bins.
