With the previous discussion on helping the common animals in our environment following our activity on the Herp Squad, the K1 and K2 children decided to make a educational booklet together!
To start, our K1 children became illustrators of the booklet! As our school is located next to the part connectors, the children had the opportunity to catch sight of various animals. We have also covered animal sightings in our current affairs. Gathered from their prior experiences, the children shortlisted 6 different animals (Wild boars, monkeys, snakes, crocodiles, lizards and turtles) to be included in their book.
With the creation of the educational booklet, we hope that more people would know how to react when they encounter common animal sightings without hurting them.
