After the K1 and K2 tried out their recipes in the school, they also shared their healthy eating habit recipes to other classes and with their parents.
The K1’s decorated their recipe books and gave it to their parents to try at home. Look at those lovely recipe books which the K1 children had done!
The K2 children shared the recipes with the younger group ( Pre N and the Nursery group). They brought their recipe chart to the Nursery class and brief them through the ingredients and steps together. The K2 were very thrilled to share this recipe and they encouraged the younger group of children to ask questions to clarify with them. It was an interesting sight to see how the K2 was able to engage the Nursery children throughout the whole process. They also shared the Healthy Pledge and encouraged the younger children to recite the pledge together.
Look at these children who had tried out the recipes at home! Some of them improvised the recipe and it turned out to be so lovely and delicious! We were amazed by the photos which they shared with us. It was indeed a great bonding experience with the child and parent to cook nutritious food together. Thanks to all the parents who participated in this year’s SSDB Project.
