My First Skool @ 491 Admiralty Link had just celebrated our Hari Raya cum Family Day event virtually on 15th May 2021! To kickstart the event, a sharing about Hari Raya was done for all of us to learn about the celebration. Details such as the traditional clothes and food were shared to them. Parents were also encouraged to participate in the LIVE Fashion Show, where participating child can don their inspired-traditional wear made out of recycled materials! Audience were in awe with the creativity that was shown. Materials such as chocolate trays and paper bags were part of the look.
Commemorating Family Day, parents watched recordings of the children in centre expressing their wishes to their family. All participating families had also got ready some recyclable materials such as newspapers to incorporate in their 15-minutes creation of craft to represent family. Elements of houses, heart shapes and more were seen as their completed craft.
It was an enjoyable celebration and heartwarming to see families getting together for the celebration!
