In conjunction with Singapore Kindness Day, Bright Juniors children from Bukit Purmei had their little hands busy with some preparation of craft work as part of their contributions to the elderly around our neighborhood.
Our little ones did handprinting which were then cut out to be decorated on the sides of the paperbags, along with stickers to bring joy to the elderly folks. An apple was then placed in each and every kindness paper bag as a token of love from the Bright Juniors’ children to the elderly folks.
Our little ones further spread kindness by walking around the Bukit Purmei neighborhood and greeted every elderly person they met along the way and not forgetting to share the kindness paper bag as a gift to them.
It was indeed a very meaningful experience for everyone who participated. “Kindness starts with me!”
