As the children found out that some of their Muslim friends were observing the fasting month, we took the opportunity to spread awareness about this holy month of Ramadan. The children got to know that during Ramadan, the Muslims are required to abstain from food and drinks from dawn to dusk for 30 days. They also learnt that the month of Ramadan is also the month of caring, sharing and giving. Therefore, we took the opportunity to share dates with our Muslim staff and friends.
