As SSDB 2022 focuses on the theme: “Our Family, Our Community”, K1 and K2 children of PCF Sparkletots @ Blk. 301 (DS) came up with their DIY photo frame crafts using recycled materials. They displayed excitement as they knew that this would be a great and unique surprise for their parents — to put a picture of their most memorable bonding time ever, and to hang on one part of their homes.
Children have also been learning about the story, “Save Our Rainforests”, which allowed them to go and search for recycled materials that can be found in the classroom, including old magazines, ice cream sticks, old boxes and cardboards, for their final output.
Aside from this, children also made use of some materials provided in the SSDB package, such as postcards to draw their family members in. During dismissal time, parents wowed at their children’s art pieces!
