As part of the “Keep Clean, Singapore” campaign, on 28 May 2019 (Tuesday), our centre organized a clean-up activity at Pasir Ris Park where we invited parents to participate alongside their children.
The objective of this campaign is to cultivate good value in terms of community works for our children. We are glad to receive good support from parents in this meaningful community works besides giving consents for their children to participate in “Keep Clean, Singapore” Campaign.
The activity involves:
i) picking up of litter within designated areas of Pasir Ris Park Area 3
ii) weighing recyclable and non-recyclable litters; and
iii) then place the bags at NEA designated collecting point in Pasir Ris Park.
On top of educating our children on importance of keeping our public places clean, we hope that through this, children and their parents get to share a memorable and enjoyable community service experience.
“Let’s take a group photograph prior to start of the campaign.
