Teacher did a brainstorm map with the children
to know their prior knowledge about paralympics. After the brainstorming, the teacher read a storybook titled
“The Mermaid who became a champion”. It talks about people
with disabilities and the children will understand what para athletes is.
Children have also made a motivational card for our para athletes.
Children learned about the different classifications of swimming events. They have also met some of the para athletes at the OCBC Aquatic Center.
