Prior to launching the Soles4Souls Shoes Drive in TOUCH Child Care, we screened the local movie, “Home Run” to our K1 and K2 children and the award winning animation, “Shoe” to our Toddler and Nursery class children. Through these videos, we shared about the importance of giving to the disadvantaged communities and have the children encourage their families to participate in the shoe drive.
We were delighted at the enthusiastic support of our families who brought in their new or gently worn footwear. Within a week (from 6 April to 12 April), we collected a grand total of 110 pairs of shoes at our Clementi centre, and 120 pairs of shoes at our Hougang Centre.

On 13 April (Friday), we delivered the shoes collected together with four children representatives.
Our children representatives are all smiles as they handed the donations to the organiser.
We are so proud of the children and their families for their enthusiastic support and heartening contribution towards the poor and needy.
