This year for our Start Small Dream Big project theme of ‘Caring Hearts, Loving Animals’, we are pleased to be embarking on this project together with children and parents to focus on building up their love for animals. We aim to support children in their growing interest and awareness for animals as it leads to deeper feelings of empathy in them.
During the circuit breaker, we kickstarted the project by encouraging families and teachers to share about their pets at home and how they care for them or the pets they would like to have through pictures or videos. From cats, dogs, to fishes, crabs and more! It was heartening to see the children in action and sharing about their beloved pets.
We compiled all their sharing in a PowerPoint slides where parents in our centre can view all the submissions. Here are some of the sharing that we received. We hope you will enjoy this sharing!
