We went for a field trip to Heritage Gardens at Gardens by the Bay at the end of Term 2 to learn more about plants from the four main racial groups of Singapore - Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian.
The children learn about how important each tree/plant was to the different racial groups and also learn to identify some of the trees such as the bamboo tree and the breadfruit tree.
