Even though the SSDB project is more suitable for the older children, our Playgroup children joined in and made a flower to brighten up someone’s day!
The teachers guided them in making a paper flower, they helped to crumple the paper and stick it on the straw before adding water colour to it.
As our school is situated in a club, the children gifted the flower to the security guards who patrols the area, the cleaner in our schools who maintains the hygiene and even the technician of the building who ensure our school has constant electricity.
Along the way, the children were explained to, who these people are and why they are important to us.
They sure brought smiles to their faces!
