2023 Chinese New Year Celebration @ Appleland Montessori
In preparation for the Chinese New Year celebration in Appleland Montessori, most of our children and parents brought along many different varieties of Chinese New Year snacks and goodies for the children to try.
During the celebration, they were introduced to the story of Nian, the lion dance, the traditions and the costumes worn.

Children from different races also wear Chinese cheongsam (for girls) and hanfu (for boys). Excellent: and the kids enjoyed the full-day session of festivity from food tasting to lion dancing.
