The K1 children had an exciting learning journey in growing vegetables (‘Bayam’) in an aquatic based environment, without soil, using mineral nutrient solutions in the water to feed the plants.
The greatest acheivement for the K1 children was putting into practice the value of kindness and compassion, by donating the ‘Bayam’ vegetables to the residents of Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled, for their consumption.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the parents for their partnership in their children’s learning journey.
“All good things must come to an end!” We had completed our 2022 SSDB project - “Sowing It All For You ❤️” (Hydroponic Vegetable Planting”. We hope that by instilling good and positive values in our young children will help them grow into successful and responsible individuals.
