5 August 2020 - Armed with nimble hands and a heart of love, the K1 children patiently planted their “seeds of kindness” - Bayam seedlings, in neat rows on the panel foam boards.
Working cooperatively, the children transported the seedlings to the greenhouse next to the school’s garden. They certainly looked forward to watching the seedlings grow and charting the growth of the Bayam vegetables in the next few weeks, right in their own backyard.
12 August 2020 - ONE WEEK LATER…
Beaming with excitement and anticipation, the K1 children strolled over to the school’s garden to take a peek at the Bayam seedlings. They observed that the seedlings have grown a little taller with small leaves. The children measured the seedlings to be about the height of their index fingers.
