Our K2 children continued to bring in plastic bottles for our “Little Green Hands” project. They were all so excited as they were going to learn about the “Life Cycles of Plants”. The bottles were cut into two’s and a few were used as gardening tools.Children helped to insert mop strings into the bottle caps so as to enable water to be absorbed and supplied to the seeds for growth. Paper towels were placed on the top bottle and seeds were placed in. Water was added to wet the paper towels. The excess water flowed to the bottom of the bottle. This method of planting is to prevent mosquito breeding.
