September marks the start of a new academic year for many around the globe, a time of fresh beginnings, renewed energy, and a focus on growth. At LittleLives, we share this passion for nurturing young minds and empowering educators. This month has been a whirlwind of activity, from product updates designed to streamline school operations to exciting events and insightful discussions across different regions.
At LittleLives, we are committed to constantly improving our platform to better serve schools and families. This September, we focused on enhancing our financial management tools, particularly around GIRO payments, and improving invoicing capabilities.
1. GIRO Enhancements
We understand that managing finances can be a complex and time-consuming task for schools. That's why we’ve introduced several key GIRO updates:
2. Updated Invoicing
We’ve introduced a QR code update feature on invoices, making it easier for parents to access and update account information. This is part of our ongoing effort to support e-Invoice compliance, which we'll further develop with new invoicing features expected by Q4 2024.
1. LittleLives Study Tour 2024
From September 25 to 28, 2024, LittleLives hosted an inspiring study tour in Singapore, bringing together leaders and delegates in early childhood education from Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This journey offered opportunities to explore top educational systems in Singapore and engage in meaningful cultural exchanges.
Visiting Leading Preschools in Singapore
During the trip, delegates visited renowned preschools such as Little Olive Tree Yishun, Trehaus School, and Al-Muttaqin Mosque Kindergarten. At each school, we were warmly welcomed by representatives and had the chance to learn about unique teaching philosophies and innovative educational approaches. These visits provided a platform to exchange ideas and gain fresh perspectives on building nurturing and holistic learning environments.
2. Good Start Singapore Conference 2024
As part of the activities under the LittleLives Study Tour in Singapore program, LittleLives together with our educators, had the privilege of actively participating in the Good Start Conference, an exceptional platform for fostering connections with educators. We were truly honoured to welcome incredible schools from across the globe, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, who took the time to visit our booth. Their enthusiasm and engagement inspire us to continue innovating and supporting the education community.
3. Addressing Key Challenges and Exploring Digital Literacy
LittleLives participated in the conference "Developing Digital Competence for Children – Experiences from Singapore and Opportunities for Vietnamese Education". This important discussion highlighted the growing need for digital skills in today's world and explored how educational systems can adapt to equip children with these crucial competencies.

2. Short-Term Learning Combined with School Visits: A Golden Opportunity for Early Childhood Educators
In the context of the rapidly evolving early childhood education sector and increasing demands for teaching quality, short-term learning programs combining school visits and participation in international conferences are emerging as an effective approach for preschool educators and teachers to enhance their professional skills and broaden their perspectives. This learning model not only helps educators stay updated with the latest knowledge but also provides opportunities to connect with international experts and peers, thereby improving teaching quality and fostering comprehensive development for children.
September has been a month of significant progress and valuable connections for LittleLives. We are excited to continue our work empowering schools and families to focus on what matters most: nurturing children.
By continuously improving our platform, engaging with educators around the world, and staying abreast of industry trends, we are committed to building a brighter future for education.
