At the start of our SSDB project, the children together with their parents pledged to participate and show their support. Since we cannot hold an in-house event for the project, we organised an online activity with the children and their parents through Zoom.
The children and their parents made their own toy, a shoebox maze, made out of a shoebox and tissue rolls. They made it depending on how they want it to be. They also let their creativity flow while decorating their shoebox maze with paint, markers and crayons. At the end of the activity, they were also given different tips and suggestions how they could use the 3R’s at home.
We are really greatful for supportive families in activities like these! Truly children’s learning and development are optimised with working together.
