Skool4Kidz @ Woodlands Crescent Meadow celebrated the World Senior Citizen’s Day for the fifth time on the 21st of August 2024. The children were introduced to the rationale of the celebration, and they were encouraged to discuss about the importance, as well as the different ways of displaying compassion and kindness to the senior citizens during the celebration. The children were then encouraged to participate in the music and movement activities meant for the senior citizens and they were also involved in making hand-made heart cards for the Senior Citizens at the Woodlands Care Home.
The K1 children are working hard at writing messages on their hand-made cards.
The children were proud of their hand-made cards!
Thank you for the Singa scratch cards! The children had a blast creating designs/ drawings on the scratch cards!
Gifts are ready for the senior citizens at Woodlands Care Home!
On the 27th of August 2024, as part of our SSDB closure, the kindergarten children as well as teachers, on behalf of the Centre, made their way down to gift their beautiful hand-made cards and donations to the Senior Citizens at Woodlands Care Home. The kindergarten children even had the opportunity to perform several classic songs and dance performances for them, which they enjoyed it a lot!

Our talented teacher even played a nice melody on the piano for the senior citizens! They were absolutely thrilled!
