As much as we want the other children and teachers to be involved in our project as well as increase awareness of the importance of recycling, the K1 and K2 classes decided to make recycling paper bins to be distributed to the 3 external bays and to the main bay.
This experience was a great way to teach children how this small gesture can make a great impact to the earth we live in.
“By recycling paper, we can save trees,” Ethan said while coating the box with blue paint.
“Yes, we must stop cutting trees,” Jordan agreed.
We have decided to connect with the community scrap collectors, locally known as “Karanga guni man” to help us bring the recycle papers to the recycling centres.
