“Things don’t always for according to plan” is a saying we always here and is very much true. Sometimes, better things happen because of these unforeseen changes. Since Phase 2 Heightened Alert happened, we had to either postpone or change our activities for SSDB 2021. First on our list is to make up for our missed activity with our partner community, Bukit Batok Care Home.
The Sunflower kids at West Rock made paper plate fans for the elderly. Most children painted their fans in rainbow cookouts to make them more eye-catching. They did a “product test” on their work and used the fan to check whether it is durable or not. The teacher also helped out the children by attaching a short note saying, _“Have a FAN-tastic day! :)_”, hoping that a simple craft can bring them joy.
Having an adaptable disposition is one thing that we should all learn. Changing our plans and timeline did not stop us from doing what we any to achieve — to show that we care, we share, we rock @ west rock! 😊
