Continuing from the completion of activity sheets provided by NParks, the little gardeners went ahead to understand about the parts of a plant and the growing process of a plant deepers. One of the teachers conducted mass story-telling session for them. The story was about a child’s journey of planting a sunflower seed. It brought the little gardeners through the process of a growing plant and it also taught them on the importance of being patient when growing a plant. They understood that they cannot expect results instantly!

Once the story-telling session ended, the little gardeners were dispersed into smaller groups where they worked on the activity sheets provided by the teachers. They enjoyed completing the activity sheets because it involved cutting, colouring, pasting and working together with their friends!
Here are some of the group presentations by the little gardeners!
The little gardeners were lucky again this time as Atok Naim had completed his works in the community garden. Thus, he offered to conduct a quick tutorial for the little gardeners! He showed them a simple way to transfer their plant into a bigger pot as some of them shared earlier with the teachers that their plants had started to grow even taller!
