As we are almost coming to the end of this year’s SSDB project, the teachers could not think of a better way than to compile the little gardeners’ insightful experiences into a book as a key take-away of their gardening journey! That’s right – who says our little gardeners cannot be little authors too?
By making references to their weekly journals (of which they use it to jot down the progress of the plants growing in school) and guiding questions from the teachers, the little gardeners gave their inputs accordingly.
In pairs, they will be working on 1 page of the book and they will be required to be engaged in tasks such as writing the sentences, drawing pictures to depict the sentences, colouring and decorating the page.
Do you know that the little gardeners actually requested not to have their pictures taken as much this time? Their reason was they want to keep it a surprise for the closure of the SSDB project! Now who is excited to see the final result of the book?!
