Children’s of Kindergarten 2 , engaged in an combined effort to treasure our planet together by celebrating ‘ The Earth day,’, The Environmental Day with the biodiversity week .
Earth day is the day to remember the environment in our bust schedules. A day to remind of the very little things to make our Earth livable like turning of the light when not in use, not over exploiting the resources given by the nature , taking shorter shower, conserving the energy, planting of more trees, reducing erosion , recycling , reducing and reusing of materials . The K2 Children expressed their ideas and thoughts through the various artwork and sketches as seen.
Through the celebration of the ‘World Enviornment Day’ , children spread the awareness of the various threat to the environment due to the rising pollution level and climate changes.
Using the resources from the tree to make a crown of leaves, counting the rings on the bark to investigate the age of the tree
Biodiversity week was celebrated to create awareness of the various fauna and flora in our environment . Children took responsibilities to involve in the entire planting process of the potted plant ‘ Red bush’s.
