This is our first year, we embark into Start Small Dream Big project by our centre, SDM Childcare Centre @ Choa Chu Kang! The theme for our SSBD 2023 project is ‘We Care for You!’ Our objective is to encourage children to show care and appreciate for the elderly in the community.
Our project kicked off with the SSBD Launched Party on 14 April 2023 together with our Nursery, K1 and K2 children. The teachers of each class gave a short introduction of SSBD and the objectives of the project to the children. The K1 and K2 children have chosen the theme on ‘Elderly’ as to create awareness to show care, respect and appreciate our elderly.
After the introduction, the children explored and participated in various discussions and activities in order to inculcate a sense of graciousness and respect for the elderly.
Finally, the K1 to K2 children created SSBD posters as to kickstart our SSDB project 2023.
