The Nursery 2 children each had decided to use the recyclable plastic bottles to create something of their choice.
Once the Nursery 2 children had created their upcycling project, they made their first SSDB book and invited the Infants, Playgroup, Nursery 1 classes to join in the project too! The parents were invited to purchase the SSDB book to help in the fundraising charity drive for the Bright Hill Evergreen Home.
We would like to thank all the Teachers for their effort for making this project a success! Thank all the children for participating in this project! Thank all the parents for the kind and generous donation! Thank Mr Loh for the book printing sponsorship.
Last but not least, the children had a Virtual Google Meet up with the Grandpa and Grandma! The Playgroup, Nursery1 and Nursery 2 classes recorded their performances and the elderly had a great time watching them. Moreover, the Nursery 2 had prepared a craft activity video to show the elderly how to make a Watermelon Fan. It was a great session with the Bright Hill as the children learn to use their own resources and creativity to give back to society, and in the process, instil the spirit of giving and good values such as care for others, humility, kindness and compassion. 👏🏻
