Our children learn sustainability through water conservation. After our visit to the Newater plant, we begun works on our rain water collection system: The Water Wall.
A house shaped wooden structure was built with pitched roof to channel water to the two water walls where our children try their skills at guiding water to the reservoir at the bottom by hanging gutters made of recycled water bottles at strategic places.
Our children monitor the amount of water collected and keep track of the amount of water used each school day.
A mobile APP was build for our children to record their measurements and keep track of the amount of water conserved.
Good job, little ones!
