On 21st July, our school commemorated Racial Harmony Day. Children came to school dressed in traditional costumes and watched a skit performed by teachers. Through the skit, children learned about the Racial Riots in 1964 and the importance of living in peace and harmony regardless of race in Singapore. Using items that are unique to the different races in Singapore, children decorated a Singapore map. As our school celebrates diversity this year, we wish to spread a message: We are all different and that’s beautiful. ❤️
