The children went on an adventure to Geylang Hawker Centre to experience the hawker culture in Singapore. We invited parents to join us to elevate the experience by sharing their own insights about the hawker culture to their children. The children met and interviewed a local hawker stall owner, Uncle Hannan, who was the third generation to sell the famous briyani in Singapore! After which, they explored the hawker centre by playing a scavenger hunt game with their parents. To end of this exciting journey, the children picked out a hawker food that they wanted to try and enjoyed feasting with their parents and friends!
