As our final activity for the SSDB, the children visited PCF Sparkle Care. Prior to the visit, they had gone to the market to purchase some fruits and biscuits for the old folks with the support of their parents.
The children brought their goodies and also made paper flowers for the old folks.
They performed 2 songs, a Mandarin song and also Chan Mali Chan and sang and danced.
They distibuted the flowers and gave the biscuits too.
We had 2 artwork activities in which the children and parent volunteers helped our seniors to decorate their keepsake containers and some learned to make paper roses!
It was a day well spent. Our children, teachers, parents and principal had fulfilling moments with the seniors. We learned to appreciate and be compassionate towards them. Well done and thank you children!
