25 May 2017 - It’s finally time to visit AWWA! The children had been practicing various songs and games to sing and play together with the elderly - and all of them were excited to get to see the elderly! With the help of parent volunteers from different classes - we made our way down to AWWA Dementia Day Care Centre with the hampers and goodies for them. It was indeed a meaningful experience for the children as well as the teachers and adults. The K2 children spent 2 hours of good quality time with the elderly - taking part in their daily reality check, singing and even participating in their motor skills activities! A big thank you to our parent volunteers, as well as AWWA for hosting the visit! ☺️
