Children embarked on a virtual tour to find out more about how vegetables are being grown and more about food wastage in Singapore. Children had a chance to smell and feel 5 different type of plants- Lemongrass, Pandan leaves, Blue butterfly pea, Ginger and Mint leaves. They discovered how the real plants looked like through the virtual garden. They also got to plant their own plant- Bok Choy plant. They brought it home to nurture the plants. Children understood that food wastage is serious in Singapore for the amount of food wasted. They shared that they need to finish all their food and buy food base on how much they can finished.
